footage from the deadly traffic stop. >> i hereby declare this assembly to be unlawful. protest intensify into monday morning. shots fired in multiple locations. police used an armored vehicle to rescue one victim who was rushed to the hospital. an officer was hospitalized after rocks were hurled alternate a squad car shattering the wind shield. the violence coming after 17 people were previous evening. the fury that erupted saturday came just hours after the police shooting death of 23-year-old sylvil smith. submit and another person took off on foot after being pulled over at a traffic stop. one officer opened fire when police say smith ignored orders to put down his gun. a gun that police say was loaded. milwaukee mayor tom barrett said police body camera footage of the incident showed smith holding the gun.

the all clear after initial report of gunshot caused chaos and panic inside a terminal. the terminals evacuated after someone called police ability gunfire inside the airport. all flights were grounded as police investigated. tensions were high as officers search the airport for a possible shooter. everybody according to reports out the caller may have mistaken clapping and cheering for the olympics as gunfire. but that remains under investigation. happening today family and friends will be gathering to honor vanessa marcot. one week since she was found murdered. her killer is still on the loose. let's head out to princeton right now with 7 victoria

her wake scheduled for this afternoon. funeral mass will happen tomorrow in them onster. meanwhile here in princeton over the weekend there were vigils and remembrances as police continue to investigate all leads and tips they receive. >> running to remember in memory of vanessa marcot the 27-year-old who was brutally murdered while out for a jog in princeton. it's been very difficult. i think people are having a their homes. >> it's hit everybody. male, female. young, old. you can feel it. everybody is so worried. everybody is worried and ners. this chapel holding a prayer vigil as well. they continue to search the woods where marcot's body was found. her family preparing to say d good-bye with wake and funeral in them onster where marcot grew up.

suspect to bring peace back to this community. >> i can't believe. you cannot believe it. how can that happen. her family is asked that instead of sending flowers people make donations to the various volunteer organization that vanessa marcot held dear to her heart. victoria warren. 7news "today in new england." right now transit police are investigating an assault on an mbta bus driver. they say a by a passenger while behind the wheel. investigator tell us the driver was pun nchd the face while driving a bus late last fight. we're told the driver refused medical attention no word yet on any arrest. one person in the hospital after serious crash on 95 south early this morning in topsfield. right now police are searching for the cause of this single car crash. the accident shutdown the highway for about an hour. but right now all lanes are back open and running.

investigation is under way after a grandmother is left alone inside a methuene dialysis centered. employee closed the building down and locked up. john cocoa is live now with more on this story. john? >> sarah i just got off the phone with the family and they are looking for answer after they say their grandmother was forgotten about on the first floor of this building. >> this is so unbelievable. no one will believe this. this video shows the this dialysis center on saturday. to rescue an 86 grandmother forgotten and left alone. >> when she saw my mom and i. she said i knew you guys would find me. that broke my heart. erika snapped this picture of her grandmother who is temporarily bed ridden. she was left in dark room for three hours.

some. thousand about the thunderstorms overnight on saturday incredible light show and some down powers with that. the numbers are all over the place. a lot of heat and humidity yesterday. right now we've taken the edge off. still warm, 80 degrees in the city of boston. 78 bedford. 78 norwood. temperature close to 90 inland this afternoon along the coastline that northwest wind lightens up to let the sea breeze kick in. you look to north and west where the wind comes fm dewpoints upper 50ings to lower 60s. that's the reprieve from the sweltering humidity we had constantly almost in here aside from saturday. over the last several days we battled it. dewpoint after dewpoint level running into the mid 70s. not the case today. low-to-mid 60s out there. we bounce back close to 70 tomorrow and then back down into the low 60s by thursday. quiet pattern across new england. at least for today. you look to the west of us and

you know it's scattered so not all towns will see it. but the towns that do there's indication that we could get locally heavy rain. the atmosphere will have so much moisture with it. it's pretty easy for the storms to ring out tropical like downpours. one or two on the downside. front crosses through wednesday morning. could be left over shower or thunderstorm on wednesday. maybe an isolated sto thursday although i tent to thing much of the time will be on the dry side. main threat with storms locally torrential rains with that moisture in place. again one or two may be on the stronger side. damaging wind gust. we'll keep an eye on that for tomorrow afternoon. as we get into the next several days. i think tomorrow will be the most widespread opportunity to pick up on showers and storms. so far this summer we talk about summer from mete logical perspective. we've picked up three inch in the city of boston.

we have the latest in the race for the white house. hillary clinton and joe biden will be in pennsylvania today for a rally. the vp is from scranton and expected to talk about why he believes clinton understand the challenges that people face in the neighborhoods where he grew up. and on the g.o.p. side donald trump will be talking ability isis during a speech in ohio. the republican nominee is expected to argue that the u.s. needs to work with other countries and also want to defeat isis regardless of the strategic disagreements and he lanns to say that any country who wants to defeat isis will be a u.s. alley. >> president obama will be at work while on vacation attending a fund-raiser on martha's vineyard today. it will be for the democratic national committee. a white house official said the president will deliver remarks and take questions. president obama hit the green on sunday playing some golf as well. >> up next a day at the lake taking a tragic turn.

from this fiery crash just 30 seconds before the burning car explodes. happened after it caught fire. now the driver owes a thank you to brave people who came to rescue. jadiann thompson has the story. it just boom, blew like that. it's nothing short of amazing that this driver made it out of this fiery crash alive. uber driver was among those quick thinkers responsle pulling him out of the car in the moments before it exploded. >> we started smelling fuel. we said okay. everybody lifted a leg. lifted an arm and got him from underneath the wheel. ing with who witnessed the accident said the driver coming from the opposite direction apparently tried to turn without looking. the lincoln crashed into the lamborghini splitting the car in two. an all die yethor who asked not show his face made the decision

not close. 198330 days we have a lot of august left and september you hit 90-degree weather. we will see where we get by the time we round off this year. taking a look at rain totals. this goes back five days. really beneficial rain especially north and west of 495. southwestern new hampshire portion of worcester county. 3 to 4 inch of rain through the north shore into southern new hampshire 1 to 2. city of boston below an inch. throughth feel left out not a lot of rain over the last several day. 80 degrees in town. 78 norwood. modest amount of humidity. over the last several day we battled the humidity as well. we're back down to dewpoint of 65. 65 better than 75 in boston. you note that different walking out the door this morning. doesn't feel quite as bad and sticky as yesterday. it could be a big difference depending on your tolerance saying much better outside.

some moisture in the front that is what we will tap into for tomorrow. the risk of shower is fairly low tomorrow morning. better chance in the afternoon. because the warm front returning with a lot of humidity and water vapor in the atmosphere. the atmosphere will be loaded with moisture. we do have the availability of that moisture to work with. some showers and storms will produce locally heavy rain once again not every single down will see the rainfall. i think the chance are lower down through southeastern mass verses north and west of even in boston could get downpours. they will be in and out tomorrow afternoon. couple of stronger storm may produce gust of wind. keep an eye to the die for tomorrow. other than that, that's the best chance of widespread downpours. 86 to 92. sea breezes kicking in. no risk of storm if you head out poolside or to the beach. 7 on 7 forecast seeing many more 80s verses the 90s. in fact we're closer to seasonal levels by the weekend.
